Once you try our reusable Hario V60 Size 02 pour-over coffee filter, you won't go back to using paper filters or other coffee sock brands. While you might think all coffee filters are the same, the small design differences offered by Doppelgänger Goods, part of the Doppeltree family of brands, truly stand out above the competition.

Our reusable filter is compatible with Hario V60 Size 02, Chemex 3 Cup, Kalita Wave, and Origami Medium brewers. Here are a few key details:

Size: Ensure you get the correct size filter. This one is for Hario Size 02 (2-4 cups) and Chemex 3 cup. For Hario Size 01 (1-2 cups), search for B09TVBGKX3. For Hario Size 03 (1-6 cups) and Chemex 6-13 cup, search for B0BNGCRK55.

Shrinking: Our reusable filter is made from organic cotton, so it's normal for the filter to be slightly larger than a standard Size 02 paper filter. This allows for shrinkage after multiple washings.

Staining: Coffee grounds will naturally stain the filter over time. This is completely normal. As you notice more residue buildup, simply give it a thorough cleaning.

Before First Use: Rinse the filter with warm water and a small amount of dish soap, then air dry. You can skip the drying step if you're in a hurry, though the bag may be larger than its final, post-shrinking size.

We invite Hario and Chemex users to take our "No Paper Challenge" and make the switch from disposable filters to our reusable option. If you still prefer paper filters afterwards, we'll happily reimburse you.

4 Steps to an Amazing Pour-Over:

1. Boil filtered water to enjoy the best coffee flavor.
2. Grind your favorite fresh whole beans to the appropriate medium setting.
3. Place the filter in your Hario V60 or Chemex dripper, folding the top over to keep it in place. Rinse the filter first to help it adhere.
4. Pour the hot water in a circular motion, allowing the coffee to bloom for 30 seconds before repeating.

Cleaning Your Reusable Filter:

1. Remove the filter and dump the used grounds into the trash or compost.
2. Rinse the filter under the faucet, turning it inside out to wash away any remaining grounds.
3. Squeeze out excess water, but don't wring it dry to maintain the filter's shape.
4. Place or hang the filter to air dry, often right back in your brewing device.

Dealing with Coffee Residue, Oils, Mildew, or Mold?

It's normal for the organic cotton fabric to accumulate some buildup over time. Simply soak the filter overnight in a vinegar and baking soda solution to effectively clean it.
